Very Ill Dying Chicken!!! Please Please help!!!!

Our lovely Casty is extremely ill. For the past week she has got gradually quiter and more withdrawn. Now she cannot stand up and leans to one side breathing heavily and slowly and eyes always closed. She is not eating or drinking although we are giving her natural yoghurt down her throat. She has been having loose and watery green stools. No sign of lice and we have wormed them recently. Neither of our other chickens in a similar state. Will do anything to save her. Very dear to us. Please Please help!

could be cocci - buy corid and add to water right away. force feed it if necessary. if you get the 9.6% liquid solution, add 9.5ml/cc per gallon. It doesn't sound like you have a lot of time so you should move quickly. Give her gatorade or water with electrolytes, and also nutridrench. Avoid vitamin B until adter corid treatment, make sure you don't give her iron.

You should get the poop tested to be sure it's cocci. but it will take a day to come back. I think you need to start on corid now.
