Welsummers can generally be sexed by their markings. Defined V on the head and eyeliner are pullets, messy V on the head and no eyeliner are cockerels. It's not 100% and you always get some "iffy" ones that you're not positive on.

Most people that know the sex of their birds at a very young age have raised bird after bird, hatched chick after chick. Like me, it comes naturally. I've dealt with so many young birds that I can sort of tell by their body language.

This is my white leghorn roo crowing at 7 weeks old he started at a month-ish old the other two boys dont crow at all but he does every time i come out to feed lol he soo cute and allll rooster
