I noticed yesterday afternoon that my top hen was off. All day yesterday, she was fine. This morning, she was much worse, so I wrapped her up so that I could inspect her. She doesn't have any obviously injuries. Her vent area was a little matted. I saw that she was having some distarge. If I pressed just to the front of her vent, more discharge will come out. I soaked her in a warm Epsom salt bath and gently felt to see if she was egg bound. I could not find anything. I separated he from the others. I went to check on her again, and when I picked her up, the discharge gushed out. Anyone have any suggestions? She last laid Friday or Saturday. Last weekend, I found some soft,, not fully formed eggs...two separate times.

I've attached a photo of the discharge.

What exactly fo you feed your flock?

Is a vet visit, for antibiotics, an option?
The bird who pooped this is very sick and antibiotics could help if it isn't already too late.

They eat Texas naturals. Vet visit is not an option. Are there antibiotics a i can purchase at a fed store?
