Hello,
New chicken owner here, I have an 11 week old Barbu D'uccle bantam rooster 'Morph', that is usually very spirited, but this morning found him in the coop very not his normal self. We still feed chick crumbles, they have an antibiotic in them 'coccidiostat' (Rumensin® 20% Millmix), they also scratch about for bugs and sometimes give them a bit of left over vege or fruit but not everyday.

Here is a list of symptoms?, hopefully it helps, would love feedback.
- Very lethargic and quiet
- when opened coop he wasn't roosting like normal and went straight to water
- Crop is soft but does have some food in it from yesterday I think
- Eyes often closed
- Can't smell anything, no weird lumps in the face, no discharge
- Still waiting to see a poop
Apart from that I don't know much else! EDIT: poop happened, it's whiteish and not formed/fully liquid.

Things I have done so far
- Massaged the crop
- Put him in a hospital box as its very windy and blustery outside today
- put some cider vinger in the water (heard that helps if its sour crop)
- gave him a little bit of coconut oil to help when massaging the crop.

Terribly unhelpful list of symptoms. Keen to hear any thoughts from you guys especially anything I saw, but didn't realise in the previous days that may also help.

@Tonyroo It has been very warm, 26 deg C+ for a number of days, but not too humid. We live in a slightly elevated area so only humid after rain. Are you thinking heat stress?

It's not weather related since it's not that hot. Check your feed for mold or anything strange in your yard.

For a bird to suddenly get lethargic, it ingested mold.
