Glad you resolved the situation. It sounded very confrontational in your first post and like you were headed for trouble with your neighbor.

Glad you figured out what the weakness was in your set up.

Sorry you had to kill the cat. Glad the neighbors handled it well.

Do you rent out your vicious pheasants by the day or by the week? Do you have a "Beware of attack pheasants" sign?

I've been following this thread, and I understand where you're coming from.

I had to respond over the pheasant attack, though- Just WOW!!! Good for the birds!

No, seriously cage those pheasants up. Now that they have tasted blood, they'll be out and about looking for trouble. The cycle of violence escalates. The neighbors get a tiger and so on and so on.

You need to rent your pheasants out... Perhaps a breeding program for blood-letting guard pheasants - you may be sitting on a gold mine! That is absolutely incredible - what a story!

so cat attacks your chickens, you shoot the cat with a paintball gun. you did the right thing. you do your part to keep your animals in your yard, she isn't doing her part in that matter.

i hope joey will be okay.

now, i'm gonna get me some pheasants!
