hello,
I have three ducklings, all 1month1week old. One of them is incredibly noisy, they all live in my room which is becoming a bit of an issue as when I’m asleep my noisy duckling (beelzebub) stands by my head and quacks very loudly until I let her up and will only stop when I let her lie on my chest and stroke her face. If I don’t let her up she runs and jumps at the bed flapping her wings, I’m worried she will hurt herself. I’d there anything I can do to stop this apart from letting them sleep elsewhere. Thanks x

She has taught you well. Lol Is there any other place in your house you can put the ducklings? And I’d make a cover for the top of you brooder. At that age they could escape and no telling where they may roam too.

My room is the only place I would feel safe having them as my dog is still getting used to them. They are free range round my room as they had got to big for the run I had set up. I can try barring them from being close to my bed but it doesn’t stop Beelzebub from quacking all night

Time to get them outside.. :frow
they need to be Ducks. A heat lamp or depending on your location come up with a better set up to keep them safe.
I should be able to get them outside by this weekend as we are still renovating the outside house and run.
