I have never really understood, what is a bantam?

I have 2 large RIRxLight Sussexs, are they bantams?

Bantams are the small chickens, they never reach the size of a regular chicken.

I have Bantams... 5 Silkies and 1 White Crested Polish...

I know! I bought a coop + run and 2 hens within a week,

2 weeks later extended run

4 weeks later adopting 3 ex battery hens this saturday
