Very odd shellless eggs

I have a 21-week-old splash pullet. We just found out she is the one that has been laying shellless eggs out in the yard. We couldn't figure out which one it was because by the time we noticed something was going on it was pretty much eaten by her henmates. The other girls now expect it and as soon as she starts to waddle as she walks, they are right behind her waiting for her to drop it and go to eat it right away. Today I saw it start to happen so I rushed out to grab the egg before they could eat it and the odd egg in the attachment is what I found. The egg almost has a tail on it made of the same membrane of the shellless egg, And then there are egg whites coming out of the 'tail'. Any ideas what could cause this and if it is reason for concern? I know it is not uncommon for young pullets to lay shellless eggs before they're fully mature but this one is just strange and she's been laying shellless eggs for weeks now. They are on layer feed and we have an oyster shell container always available.

What are you feeding?
I would be inclined to give her 1/2 Caltrate for 2-3 days (no more than 3!)
Since she's probably just come into lay, it's a glitch. Hopefully she will work it out soon.
Do you ever see her visit the nesting boxes?

Sorry for the delay in responding. We just had our daughter's wedding and that tied up all of our time, happily 😊 we've been feeding nutrena layer pellets. She was actually one of the first of the younger girls to visit the nesting box and we used the wooden eggs to show them they were in the right place. I moved the spot for the oyster shell closer to the food so hopefully that will help. I've been watching them and haven't seen another episode, so I'm hoping you're right and it was just a glitch!
