very red underside

One of my hens has no feathers on her underside and it is very red. Is this infection or normal? Can we eat the eggs?
 
Some of my girls have bare bellies too. Is her belly swolled? Does she react if you gently puch on it? If not, I wouldn't be concerned. Just keep an eye on it for any changes.
