3 week old cackle asst bantam. Not the best picture but I have 2 of these fellows, indentical, and they do not like me, so I had to zoom.
Must be eating well when I am not looking because they are feathering?

Huh. I was thinking this leggy (hopefully) lady was Old English. Hopped out of the box upon arrival and has not stopped. Personable but not shovvy

I did do a set of EE in addition to the random! They dabbed the Eggers.
However since they didn't have any D'uccles (sniff)to include, I don't know if they made up numbers (not very well) with more eggers or random.
I have one brown egger surviving and 1 (maybe 2?)white and grey. If the black ones got a beak mark it never showed up for looking.

So heading into week 8, shy guy has turned into probably a guy and likely some sort of egger with fluffy cheeks.
Golden edges on some hackle feathers and delightful hints of iridescent green on tail and tummy which did not show at all.
Still aloof and the last to get caught.
