Very sick baby chickens! need help fast!

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all the help! The chicks are getting better! We cleaned their water / food bowls really good and

stopped using hay as bedding, and also wormed all the chickens, and the two that were sick are very much better than they were.

I'm still watching them but hopefully they will fully recover. right now we have 3 sick in a seperate pen. Does anyone think this could be

maggots? If they eat maggots, wont the the maggots eat the chickens from the inside? they got better when we wormed them..but

then again it could be the hay

No - maggots won't eat them from the inside. I have cats that have killed rabbits and the chickens then find them and eat the maggots (if I don't find them first) My chickens have never had a problem with it.

After reading this thread I have the feeling it was the hay/ food.

Glad to hear they are all doing well.
