My Coop
I need any advice on what to do with my 1 year old Buff Orphington. I’ve been taking care of her for over 2 weeks now and I don’t see no improvement. She lost her appetite, she doesn’t want to drink, and her eyes are always shut and sleepy. She lost her balance and can barely stand up straight, and her head is always curled. I lost hope and I’ve done everything I can do for her. She also had been losing fur. I put her back in her coop isolated to see if she would pass but, it’s been two days and she’s still alive. I know that doesn’t sound to good, but I lost hope and I feel terrible seeing her that what and not knowing what to do anymore. Please help me.

Do you have any details on her poop quality, respiratory health, eyes, etc? Do you have any pictures you can post?
You said you've been taking care of her for 2 weeks - that's how long you've owned her?

No I’ve had her for a year. Her poop is liquid and her eyes are so red. This is how she always curls up.

Have you checked her for lice and mites? Lice can sometimes cause droopiness and listlessness.
When you say her poop is liquid where on this chart would you say it lands?

She doesn’t seem to have any marks on her body put I’ll put a picture since you can see a lot of her skin cause of lost fur and these are kinda how her poops look in the picture. The last time I saw her poop was 2 days ago by the way.

Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? Have you added any new birds in recent months? Do her eyes look normal, color, and pupils rounds and normal? One eye appears red in the picture. Is one leg weaker than the other? With her imbalance, wry neck symptoms, and starving herself, I would worry about Mareks disease. But it is hard to know for sure. If you can try to tempt her to drink fluids by holding a small cup up to her beak, and offer wet chicken feed, cooked egg, and a small bit of tuna or cat food, just to see if something gets her to eat. Chick vitamins or human B complex may help, along with vitamin E 400 IU. If you lose her, I would have your state vet do a necropsy and testing to look for Mareks. Here is a list of state vets:

No she hasn’t had any shots. Yes both eyes are cloudy and red looking, and that’s not normal. Her pupils are normal but her eyes are just cloudy. I think both of her legs are weak now. I have been giving her vitamin’s exactly the one you mentioned for a week and nothing. It seemed like she was getting worse. I would take her to a vet I know one close to me, but it’s expensive.

And like 5 months ago we got 3 baby silkies, but she didn’t really care about them.
