thanks,i did separate her,she does eat,not sure about drinking water,I can tell you she is still alive this morning, going to give her bath today because the poop on butt,is drawing flies.so will keep her isolated for a while

my chicken died 2 weeks ago now I have another sick one,i have never wormed my chickens tell me what to buy and I will get it,someone also said they might need an antibiotic, wher do I get that at and I am very attached to my chickens,PLEASE HELP

Valbazen 1/2 ml orally to each chicken then repeat in 10 days, is a good wormer. SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer is also good. Dosage is 1/4 ml per pound for 3-5 days orally to each chicken. Look them over for signs of lice or mites (mites can cause anemia.) Are your chickens eating layer feed? Is their water fresh every day? A poultry vitamin with a probiotic in the water 2-3 days a week can help. For the sick one, I would bring her in, clean her vent area, and try to get her to eat some egg, chopped tuna or liver, and put some electrolyte water into her feed. Buttermilk or a small amount of plain yogurt may replace probiotics. Some feeds now contain them also.
