Hello,
A couple weeks ago one of my chickens started seeming a little off, but she was still running about so I thought maybe it was just an off day, but a week ago I knew she was sick and things were bad – her comb is very pale and isn't staying upright anymore, tail down, extremely lethargic (she is now mostly just huddled on the ground and doesn't react when I get close), isn't eating much, she has diarrhea which is yellow and green ish at times and almost looks like there is grass in her feces sometimes. At the start of this week when things were getting bad I thought it was internal worms and purchased a horse dewormer paste 10% fenbendazole from SafeGuard), the only de wormer I could find near me, but she isn't getting better – I know now that I wasn't giving her enough and have now upped the quantity to ~2ml.

She has been eating and drinking a little but has now almost completely stopped and has a lost a lot of weight. I've been trying to give her scrambled eggs, yoghurt, and bread, but today it seems her appetite is almost gone or she doesn't have the energy to eat. It's quite bad and I'm wondering if at this point the most humane thing to do is to euthanize her or if there's anything else I could try.

I've attached some photos of both her and her feces – she is barely generating any feces currently because of her large decrease in appetite so I attached some pictures from today and some from earlier this week. The poop does smell sick/off.

Thank you so much in advance.

Is she laying eggs? Can you check her crop in her right chest first thing in the mornings before she eats or drinks, and describe if it is empty, full, hard, or puffy? I would try to get her drinking well, and some electrolytes and vitamins could help. Look her skin over well for any evidence of mites or lice under her vent, belly, and under wings. Pictures of droppings could be helpful.

I did not find any lice or mites. She is no longer laying but I did include some pictures of feces in the first post on this thread!
