Very slow tonight!

Lol! Darn so close! I have a chick who turned a week old 2 days ago. Will get a pic of her tomorrow. She is the only one who follows my hand and lets me hold her.

I love the babies. Our 10 week olds are very big!!! I love them. There is 1 RIR that is just the sweetest thing. When I pick her up she lays her head on my breast and closes her eyes. How sweet is that???

Thats adorable! Mine lays in my hand and falls asleep to my heartbeat. She is a porcelain d'uccle. Boy or girl he/she stays.

I don't blame you, when one catches your heart it is here to stay. PERIOD. that is how I feel about that RIR. No idea if it's a roo or not. It stays.

If its a roo I hope he wont be loud. If he is he has to stay inside. I know our place is an agricultural county but I dont want to be on the dark side with the neighbors.

Our neighbors love our chickens, including the roo. they look out for animal control for us an intervene if we arent home.

I have company. So much for being online for more than five minutes or getting the coop painted or having a clean house. I think all my critters are gonna be on valium by tomorrow. They're not used to being chased non-stop by a 2 yr. old texas tornado. Come to think of it, I think I'll need valium too.
