last evening i went to collect the eggs and lock the birds in for the night and i found one of the buffs eggs was very small not much more round than a quarter. i had been getting nice eggs from the buffs but they seemed to slow down and i only get consistant eggs from 1 of them now. the others are here and there they were doing ok when we had some cooler weather, now its gotton hot/humid again, the roo has come of age and is mounting them(which i don't think they like), and some of the aracuana x's started laying it seems like the other buffs have stopped? they eat plenty and have adaquate water, plus eat all day freeranging. what could be going on?

Less daylight could be slowing them down or they could be molting(which I have read can be a quick and obvious event or a gradual event that slows or stops egg production). My layers take breaks and don't always lay everyday anyway.
