Very soft shelles egg.

No not yet I got it last night at tsc but it didn't come with any syringe so I'm on my way to Walmart right now to get one.

I've actually never seen a duck specific layer feed. I could try just getting some Layena and mixing it with her Purina duck feed 50/50?
1ml syringe works best. @DuckyDonna had at least one of her girls last year getting egg bound the calcium gluconate worked great to get the egg moving.

Yeah I've been giving her 1ml per day for the past 3 days and I got a good normal egg this morning. I gave her another 1ml today. How much longer should I keep giving it to her? I haven't seen her eat the oyster shell by itself yet but I've been sprinkling mealworms on every pile of it that I have every day so I assume she's at least getting some into her system while she's eating the mealworms

I've been feeding my ducks Purina duck pellets. Tractor Supply should have them. Don't get them from amazon cause they are super expensive. Should be around $16.99 for 40lbs.

I have used this food for a couple of years now. The 7 I hatched last spring have had it since hatch and are the biggest most healthy ducks I've ever had. Just sayin' but have no scientific proof.

Those are what I was using before as well.

My bag of Mazuri came today and I'm glad it was the perfect size to completely fill up my food bin. The ducks weren't all that interested in it right away but the second I threw some in the kiddie pool they got very excited about it. I also brought some of it to my local park to share with the ducks there and they were obsessed with it. Gray oyster shell didn't get here yet but I saw Puffin eating out of one of my piles of white oyster shell for the first time today so hopefully I'll get some eggs from her soon. I put my fake eggs in her coop so hopefully she can make me some real ones.

Glad to hear the stuff came, and I'm thrilled about that hard shelled egg!

My avian vet recommends I give the calcium for 30 days after my duck experiences soft shells. That doesn't mean you should, my situation could be different.
