Do you know where I can buy it? I see there's tablets at Walmart but is there like a liquid form? I'll def switch her to it, how how much should I give to her?
 


After about an hour in the tub there was no egg, she still is struggling but a bit less than before. I brought her in the coop with penguin so she can just relax with her friend. Having her penguin around always makes her the happiest. These 2 are my whole world I would be beyond devastated if anything happened to them.

I have found some birds respond differently to certain forms of calcium. I personally use gluconate but have had some not respond to it well, but did to the citrate. Citrate is better in the way that absorbs into the system easier.

For adequate absorption of calcium supplements, birds need D3, that is the reasoning behind getting the D3 in the pills.

I actually find tablets/capsules faster and easier to give than liquid. If they like tomatoes I hide the medication inside a grape tomato like a pill pocket. They eat it up like a treat.

And even otherwise I still find it easier. I just trim my index fingernail super short, open my ducks mouth, and slide the medication right down the side of her mouth into her throat.

hmm alright I might try with blueberries thanks, I already gave her a dose of the gluconate today so I'll get some of that tomorrow.
