I bet she'll be fine. Sometimes when they start laying after a break there can be some strange eggs. I wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening.

Yeah she seems to be more active now like she usually is she's not laying around anymore. Maybe she just was a little sore from her egg last night and was resting.

Don’t you love those precious voices She looks good and eating drinking and sounds to be acting normal is all good signs. It’s very normal for us to worry when we notice something even the slightest something,that is good though because it makes us pay closer attention in case there is a problem. We want to be able to help if at all possible. Your a good duck dad!

Ah yes, Pigeon is my talker, the rest tend to stay pretty quiet except for in the morning when I first let them out, but Pigeon ALWAYS has something to say

Funny, my partner now recognizes your voice and says, "are you watching videos from that guy with the muscovy ducks in Florida again?" Lol!

Not sure where you are at, but here in AZ the weather has been nuts. A week ago, we had freeze warnings overnight , and it was barely breaking 60°F during the day. This weekend?? It’s near 90°F in the daytime and it’ll be almost 70° overnight, tonight. The weather has been crazy like that in a lot of places around the US.

Temperature swings like that can leave them feeling kinda dumpy sometimes. It probably throws off their sleep & hormone cycles, too.
