We just got a batch of rainbow egg layers and brown egg layers from McMurray. They're about a week old. All seem fairly healthy. One, however, is completely swollen. I have no idea what breed she is. Her little body is like a water balloon. Her vent was sealed shut (not poopy butt, no poop in sight). We squeezed her and weren't able to get anything out. We, very unconventionally, were able to open the vent a little bit and get some backed up feces out. But have not seen her poop on her own. The vent distended and I put neosporin on it.

If anyone's seen this before or knows what to do, I'd really appreciate advice. Thanks!

I sent you a PM but for those who find this post and need help with the same situation - what I've found works is olive oil. Drop some on her vent and massage it in or use a syringe without a needle and insert a drop or two. Also feed her a couple of drops of olive oil till she passes the poo. On the chicks I've treated, just dropping olive oil on the vent made them poop immediately.
