Background is they are about 18weeks old favorelles and all four I've just realised are very skinny.
They are on pullet grower and can free range but tend to stick to the main run.
I've also just found they have lice and treated with ivermectin on Friday as well as spraying coop. Still found one today again though.
They have also had a sneeze since we put them in their outside coop a couple months ago and one deteriorated to raspy breathing today. Vet gave me antibiotics and a collapsible cage so she is cuddled up in the bathroom at the moment.
So...back to my original question. Would that all cause this weight loss? They all have very pronounced breastbones (now I know to look for that). They seem to be eating and the fecal screen tonight was clear.
Ideas???
Oh and having treated with ivermectin Friday for the lice would that have cleared up existing worms enough to give a clear result 4 days later? Ie could they possibly have had worms before the ivermectin?
Just can't work out why so skinny?
