very VERY URGENT QUESTION!

You will hear the chcks peeping before they start cracking the shells open, that does not mean they are in trouble its normal.I know its hard but let nature take its coarse and you will have babies soon.

sounds like you should be just fine then.. and you'll have to post pics of the new babies once they decide to make an appearance

Please try and not let the doom and gloom reaction stress you out. If you have a good bator and the humidity level was able to rapidly recover they SHOULD be ok. Would I recommend opening it? No, but you did to check for a problem, and you also stabilized the humidity quickly. You need to do what is right for you and your eggs and for where in the country you live. My incubating techniques don't match those of someone in AZ using a styrofoam bator. Good luck and post pictures when they are out.

PS
Please keep in mind that just because 5 went in lock down, all 5 may not hatch and it isn't anything you did or did not do.
We set 12 final call duck eggs, 9 locked down, 7 hatched.
