Still not eating but I got her to eat a few eggs this morning. Not sure if she drank any water but I will make sure she gets some tonight. She is still pooping and I’m pretty sure she is standing less penguin like than yesterday. She is still pooping.

Because your chicken is so young and at POL my first thought was a first big egg that got stuck. But this is obviously not the problem.
Second thought was she has a kind of fracture (hip/upper leg) and this is her most comfortable position. A wrong landing or getting stuck somewhere can cause bruising or a fracture you cant see from the outside.

I had a hen last year that was hurt , wouldn’t roost or lie down. She just stood upright the whole time for a week and needed a long time to get better.

…. She got some antibiotics in her water as well.
I wouldn’t give antibiotics if I didn’t know what the problem is. Antibiotics kill all bacteria randomly and weaken the chickens natural resistance. But if you started a cure you have to finish it of course.

There have been a few threads about roosters who also did this. Some of them seemed have a possible abdominal tumor, or a paralyzed leg, but one also seemed to have a skeletal deformity. Oddly, some of these chickens improved in posture to almost normal, and later died.
I wonder why they died. Could have been from an infection he had no resistance for, after given antibiotics at the time he had the problem.
Its unlikely there is improvement in posture over time with a growing tumor.

I just don’t like to interfere with my chickens if I dont have a clue. Chickens often know best what they need themselves. I do make it easy and comfortable for them if they need rest. Just put water with electrolytes and wet chick feed (mash) near.
In general I do let my chickens free range a few hours each day for exercise, fresh food and supplements / self medication.

FYI, just to understand why this is a good strategy imho: My chickens become old if they are not taken by a predator. Only once I had a sick chicken that died in the 10 years I have chickens (4yo probably EYP). And once one hen probably had a severe stroke or heart attack in the night at 4yo. She looked perfectly healthy the day before. There might have been an inbreeding problem with these two sisters. My old Dutch bantams are descendants of a strong heritage breed.
All these years I had 5-9 chickens (not counting the chicks). And now I have a mixed flock from 8 months old - 10+ yo.

She is still pooping and I’m pretty sure she is standing less penguin like than yesterday.
Glad to see she looks more relaxed. Good luck with the recovery of your chicken Noraaa.
