I was reading up on chicken first aid (better to read now than when I'm panicking later). The BYC first aid kit lists Neosporin & Blu-Kote for minor wounds and injuries, but the Chicken Chick Lady lists Vetericyn Wound Care spray in her first aid kit. Are Vetericyn and Blu-Kote the same thing basically? Which should I use if one of my chickens suffers a bleeding wound/injury (like a bite from an animal attack).

Here's the links I'm looking at:

Edited for typos (sorry, it's late!)

i just bought the blue kote. i like it because it has dye in it so the flock wont peck at a wound. make sure you put super glue in your first aid kit. ive used it on lots of wounds. my first major wound i had i called the breeder we got her from he said dont panic. the other chickens had pecked her head open. i could see her skull bone. he told me separate her. wash the wound off with cold water. pull the skin together and put some super glue on it. helps it heal much faster. once the super glues dry. put on the Neosporin. that super glue has come in handy!
