I just spray right in the eyes, I had to do that to one of my drakes this morning.

Duckins, Vetericyn makes a solution specifically for eyes. Though I have never used it, it is supposed to be safe for all animals//poultry. I use the regular Vetericyn hydrogel for everything with my chickens and ducks. I consider it a miracle cure and have used it for some absoluetly horrendous wounds over the past year and a half (since I started my flock) and have had great results.

Thanks, applied with qtip yesterday but I will just spray today the eye looks better after one use.

i will also give it one more spray when I am ready to put them up for the night, that way since I don't put water inside they can't wash it off so easy,

Yes any time I give them ontiment or anything they run as hard as they can to pools or buckets.

Thats why I always give them a treatment right before bed, that way I have the last word, not them the little buggers.

Chicken treatments always done after they go to roost, ducks/ when time for bed. My big drake has been rubbing his knob on his carnuckles every morning because I don't get him out of his bedroom fast enough[to his liking] so I had to move him to a stall that didn't have any hardware wire on it, but now I have to spray him with Veterycin to make sure it heals up, so Since i can pick him up easy I just spray him and carry him to bed, that way he doesn't have a chance to stop by the bucket and dunk his head after i spray. This morning it looks so much better swelling is going down too.
