Viable Eggs?

I have button quail, and they have just recently started to lay eggs (picked up our second egg this morning). From what I’ve read the first eggs are hardly ever fertilized, but I was wondering when it was reasonable to start putting them in an incubator? None of them seem to be broody, though it’s still early so hopefully someone will, but I am hoping for some more buttons eventually. Thank you and I hope everyone’s quail are doing well

For coturnix, I think people are usually saying 'when they are laying regularly' you can start to collect eggs. So when you are pretty much getting an egg a day from each hen and have been for a few days. If your hens aren't that productive and are perhaps only laying 2 eggs in 3 days, I suppose I'd give them 1-2 weeks before I start collecting.
If a hen is laying all her eggs in the same nest, there is a good chance she will go broody, so in that case I'd let her keep her eggs untill she has 8-10. If she hasn't gone broody by then, remove them and let her start over.
