Victor's 2 new girlfriends. He'll have to wait a while longer, but I think he will be pleased in the long run. They are very pretty little girls.

they are very cute! SOo question for me (who has no clue) were they vent sexed or is there a way to tell easily by just looking on turkey babies? They are turkeys right? LMAO

Yes, they are turkey poults. Lazy 54 Farm vent sexed them for me.

Hey Harp, are turkeys like chickens and 2 hens for 1 tom is a good thing? Or will it cause problems?

you can run up to 8 hens per tom if you like. We run 5-6 hens to a tom and so far this year have had all but 1 egg not fertile.

I thought 1 or more would be ok. I was only going to keep one but now I'm way too attached and could never pick which one to rehome. Didn't take long did it? They are both so sweet and spoiled already. I can't leave the room without them crying. The minute I walk back into the room the go back to milling around quietly. They love the run around in the den and I pick them up and cuddle them continuously. I know, my fault, but they are just too cute.
