I know some of you have webcams in your coops... i am wanting to install a camera in my coop that is wireless and that will stream to my computer. I see evidence of something small digging into my coop... But I have never had any problems. i thought maybe it was a mouse or something to get feed. I set a live trap but nothing is getting caught. Last night one of my chickens was killed. No blood, just feathers. I am wondering if it was something that got in, or if my chickens got into a fight. I dont want this to happen again. I would like to see whats going on in the coop overnight to give me peace of mind. I love my birdies, and I dont want anything to happen to any more of them...

A trail camera, like thedeer hunters use, are motion activated and will take photos and give you a date and time stamp. They will take a flash photo, or even an IR photo. Inexpensive onse can be purchased at Cabelas for $60-150. You can spend MUCH MORE.

Got this pic a while back.

Great Idea! Something got into 1 of my coops and I don't know how it got in. I think it dug it's way in there. If I would have had that, then i would know what happened. Keep us posted on your installation. Is it hard to do? I may want to do the same thing.

Hi everyone. I want a video link to my computer so it can be running 24/7 & have night vision & also be recorded. ( Basically surveilence with night vision & recording 24/7 that can be seen on my computer from inside the house) I know nothing about this type of stuff & Im working with very limited funds. Any suggestions? Thank you & God bless!

I have 24/7 video cameras on my property. Records constantly. U can get upto 165 feet of cable. U can get 4 or 8 or 16 cameras with dvr

Whoa wow. I just wanted one for inside my little 6 hen coop to keep an eye on them from inside the house at night. How much would something like that cost do you think? Any ideas? Mush appreciated! (I really am completely ignorant when it comes to this type of stuff for real)

Very easy to install. Plug and play. Hook up to ur tv for viewing. No internet required unless u want to view on ur smartphone. 4 cams with dvr about 250-300 depends i use mine for security but im putting one in my coop soon.

Darn, not able to spend that much. I just need 1 single camera for inside the coop. My coop is only 3 ft W x 3 ft T x 4 ft D. I have 5 hens. Thats just to much money for a single camera & such a small space needing surveillence. Thanks for the info though. Have a blessed night!
