On the bright side, the dog door was for Ryan and he's no longer with us

So, if the ducks to manage to figure that dog door out, it can be closed off without issue. Well, without issue until a dog decides to need to go out in the wee hours of the morning and I have to get up to open a door...

My Cayuga pair are VERY interested in the pet door. So are a couple of chickens. But Louie has actually been billing around the frame of the pet door, so I think it's inevitable he'll figure it out, eventually.

It doesn't help that one of the dogs will poke his head out and bark 'outside' on occasion, which gets the ducks' attention, and then he pulls back and the door does its flap back and forth. It's a solid, transparent door, not a plastic or rubber flap.

I have stood on the inside of the room and watched Louie try to look inside, then bill the frame.
