well, we have 5 girls that went broody all at once. do you think that has anything to do with that hen crowing ? maybe they think theres a rooster and they can have babies ?

I doubt the hens see her as a rooster that could mate with them. Shes the same flock member she was before, only acting a bit different. Broodiness is hormonal driven, chances are they were on their way to being broody anyway.

Sounds like a fun flock!
