We put in the pond yesterday and up until then they hated the water. I put them in yesterday and only 1 stayed in. Today I put the drake (lolly pop) in and 2 of the 3 girls followed. And have been learning to swim on and off most of the day.
I didn't have the camera at the time but lolly pop almost drowned on of the girls. I think he might have been trying to mate, he climbed on top and was biting her, and she sank and started flapping her wings and he grabbed her wing in his mouth and was pulling her to a shallow part of the pond. Poor things..
