Yesterday I went out to check on the water for the chickens. There were out of water in the bowls and using this drinker... Yay! However I looked in and noticed that the water inside was starting to grow some white stringy stuff... Boo!

I'm gonna have to research on what to add to the water to prevent that kind of mucky yuck. I know I've read/heard from some that apple cider vinegar will do the trick.

Now that the weather has cooled off and we have gotten some rain the water in the barrel is crystal clear.... and nice and full.
