I want to get the village to make backyard chickens legal. Is there anyone from swanton ohio that's interested. I have a rescue chicken that only has one eye. She was so badly hen pecked when i got her i had to take her to get surgery. Now this chicken is my best friend, I hang out with her every day and she follows me around like a puppy. The thought of having to give her away breaks my heart for fear she will be abused by other hens again because of her handicap. I live in a neighborhood and am worried the early a.m. noise will bring a complaint. Please reply if interested.
