Vine on run fencing ?

I am wanting to plant some kind of vigerious climbing vine or herb on the outside of my run. What would the chickens enjoy reaching through and getting nibbles ? I don't want to plant something that would make them sick or something to attract yellow jackets as we have plenty yellow jackets in the summer as it is.

Any suggestions ?

There is a VERY vigorous vine that would work- I think it's called Malabar spinach- I just called it climbing spinach. It grows like crazy, has dark green, glossy leaves and purple stems. Only one drawback- it reseeds like crazy!

I don't know about nibbles, my flock devours anything they can reach thru and grab...lol.
They have gone on to my garden area and literally destroyed my roses, hostas, irises and one year I had to replant most of my tomatoes and peppers.

just stay away from anything in the morning glory family they are poisonous, and I am not sure if they are dangerous to chooks.
