Hi! We have a big vinyl siding mildew problem on the side of our house that doesn't get much sun and I need to clean it. I've read that you can use a 30/70 solution of vinegar to water as a natural option, which sounds great to me! My hesitation is that our ladies free range. The are often on that side when the sun is high in the sky. I can't keep them penned up as we have babies in our run for now....so they free range all day.
Do you think that the run off will bother them? I'd suspect that they would stay away but I'd never want to harm the ladies.

Thanks so much!

The vinegar solution will cause no harm to your birds. It is a common practice to add apple cider vinegar to the water of poultry - although not in a 30% ratio.

Won't hurt your birds but it could hurt any plants it comes in contact with. Even if the plants aren't sprayed directly, the run off could do them in. Hard to find something strong enough to clean the mildew yet won't harm plantings.
