You might want to start your own thread asking for parts ;o) You might get more help that way.

Chicks are hatching early. pips on day 19 and 2 out on day 20. First one seems mostly ok, but the second one still has a large amount of yolk still at attached. Not sure if it will make it.

On day 18, I plugged up all but one hole, and added more water. Still too dry in there, even with a pan covering half of the floor and full of water. Add two cloths that are very wet as well. I have had to sneak in and drip water on all the piped areas, as they are drying crispy.
Half of the eggs are doing nothing.

The good news is, we have a Little Giant that has 40 eggs in it right now! Looking forward to that hatch, as it should be much better!.
Planning on letting sister in law know that we should just put her father in laws incubator on a shelf to look at. ( it is not for sale, in case you are wanting to know.)

I would get an old towel, and shred it into 1/4 inch strips, and place them in the pan in the incubator, and that should bring the humidity up very high.

I have something that brings the humidity up within seconds. I bought the whole fountain for 12 dollars at our local dollar store, and it is working awesomely in all of my incubator for a humidity booster.

Here's a few pictures of it.

For home decor this thing is SUPER CHEESY, but for an incubator humidifier, it works great. All you need is the metal water vaporizer, and place it in a glass jar, and this will bring the humidity up to 90% before you know it. I love it!

Manuals and new parts are still available for the Brower 845 and 846 incubators. BYC member dbcooper02 kindly shares a .pdf manual for the 845 that includes info on the egg roller mechanism that was sold as an option.

Brower will mail you an operator manual for non-current models and will include the current parts available list - below is the 2012 version sent to me.

SEARS sold an identical, private labelled Brower and still sells the essential parts:

The incubators are easy to convert to forced air - you need a 12V case fan from an old desktop computer, an AC to DC plug-in adapter (I prefer a 6V or 7.5V so the fan runs slower, and quieter) and some zip ties. Zip the fan near the wafer - I have one blowing at the wafer. High humidity is easier to achieve with the moving air - run the incubator at 99.5 F.

Here is the parts list - so if you find one of these old machines, don't worry about essential parts. Or if it's missing an element and thermostat, consider plugging in an Incukit from the Incubator Warehouse:

Other folks just go old school - install a regular light bulb. A ceramic bulb heater would work too (heat, no light) - ask at a pet shop with a lizard dept.
