Vinyl floor dilemma

I think I'm going to put down ceramic tile in my next coop!

If you're not going to cover the whole floor, and fasten securely at the edges, I would just skip the vinyl flooring like Pat says--go with a good coat of paint. I've tried working with loose pieces of vinyl, and it really is kind of a mess. Stuff always get underneath the edges, bugs and spiders like living there,the edges curl. Anything that is looser is just going to get scratched up by the birds cause that's what they do. I have vinyl that is glued down, and runs under the walls, and I LOVE it--super easy to clean if anything gets down there. But it has to be fastened down securely.

I just fastened the vinyl down with roofing nails.
