In the Brooder
So what started as a project with a local farm to take eggs into my classroom and incubate them turned into my husband and I adopting four of our more "developmentally delayed" little fuzz balls. We've adopted two Rhode Island Reds and two Dominiques, and we're hoping that they're all going to stay nice little chirpy things for a while so that we can get the hang of chicken business and hopefully they'll all be ladies!! Even if they're not, we will figure it out... Our shih-tzu has taken a liking to them, and is fascinated with everything they're doing in their brooder box... he also enjoys attempting to clean them which has been amusing... Thankfully I have a cousin and friend who also have backyard chickens to help me out!! This is going to be an exciting venture!!!
