    Virgin Mary ? - January 21, 2013

This week we lost our most beautiful Muscovy Hen, the sweet Virgin Mary. She was named for her relative lack of promiscuity when compared to her sisters here and her pure, pristine, perfectly preened white feathers. She was an excellent layer, our best flyer, and our personal showgirl and she will be sorely missed.

Virgin Mary came to our little farm on July 16th and is survived by her husband, King Pimp, sister wives Brownie, Lucy, and Bubbles, and her God-son Uno.

Services held at the farm were attended by her family and friends, the chickens and dogs.

In other news, local authorities are on the hunt for a predator on the loose. Evidence points to skunk activity but investigations are pending.

Could not post a picture, but she was stunning.

Condolences to the family. I hope the security personnel will do a thorough forensic study and resolve the weaknesses in the flock defenses.

    Sorry for the loss.

I would look into other predators. Skunks typically are a problem with eggs, not birds.

    Again, sorry. She sounded beautiful
