Virginia Coyote Hunter

In Virginia theres just a lack of public land between eastern VA and the mountains, so just to get to a lot of public land it's like a 4 hour drive. For deer a 4 hour drive I could do, but just for small game its a bit too far.

you are allowed to hunt the WMA's they have a season for yotes you ought to check with the guy in charge of ft eutis they have a yote problem there and at langley

The thing about WMAs are there's a season on coyotes and it ends in March. March is a great time to get out and shoot the young ones.

Military member looking for some land to hunt coyotes. I'm just hoping to help out with the growing population of coyotes, and hopefully keep them from killing your livesock. I'm not looking to hunt deer, just coyotes so if you or someone you know needs help just let me know thanks!!!

Gosh I wish you were my neighbor! Want to move to CA? No need to even hunt, you can sit by the pool in the back and pick them off as they cross my alfalfa field in the evenings. We get them when we can but we are over run with the dang things.

you can still trap them the most sucess you will have in Va is trapping the wma's and letting the farmers around them know what you are trapping if you are good at killing beavers or yotes with traps you will stay busy year round here LOL once folks find out you are good you will not have time to post here ROFL
