@OverEasyAcres I don't have a pond either but I use a kiddie pool for them and they love it. They were given to me by friends of ours who were moving and couldn't take them. They are about 2 1/2 years old and have grown up together. I wasn't planning on having muscovies originally. They are currently the only adult ducks I have. I have 18 ducklings in the brooder, Pekins, Rouens and Swedish. I am concerned that they will be too big for my girls once they are out of the brooder and I don't want anyone to get injured. Selfishly I want to be able to have the duck breeds I originally wanted which I fear would be too small to house with these boys. I would only rehome them if I knew they were going to a forever home and wouldn't e used for meat.

Waddle: I think I would end up in the exact same boat you're in then. Next year we are building a pond for lil ducks. I don't like the taste if duck but would be interested in the eggs. That being said, I'd get some Susie's.
