Yeah, it’s down in the Woodlake area though by a reservoir thing. Is your coworker the “pullet man”? He brings a lot of chickens.

Ha ha. I couldn’t see himself calling himself that. It’s his wife that does a majority of the chicken work. I got my leghorn Rhode Island red mixes from him but I’ve never been. I went over to his farm to pick mine up. I got special coworker pricing. LOL. Partlow is in the middle of nowhere and has nothing but I do work at Richmond and I believe I know where the woodlake area is. I may have to check that out. Just chickens right?

You say there’s a pretty good selection? There’s some breeds I’ve been really wanting but having a hard time finding without ordering.

Probably not him then, haha. Some do bring other animals also like rabbits and goats. They did have quite a few different chicken breeds. They usually make a facebook page for the event and most people post what they’re bringing and you can post to see if anyone has what you’re looking for. Haven’t seen the page for the next event yet though.

No I’m not on Facebook. Might check it out anyway just because. But it might not be safe if they are goats there. I can’t have anymore but want tons more. I’ll have to make sure I take my car so I don’t come home with a goat

Hello virginia!! I'm in keysville ( close to Farmville) I'm in desperate need of hens!! Anyone relatively close i can purchase some from? I purchased 4 hens from tractor supply and wound up with 4 roosters. Tried hatching my own with only 1 successful hatch of course a rooster!!! I have a small flock and really could use some hens asap. Any help or advice is surely welcome. Thanks all

well hello! Wow Farmville it’s a nice area. My family grew up in Rice Virginia. And less you’re from Farmville you probably have no idea where rice is. A couple of pages ago on this thread I saw someone looking for a home for their chickens. They are from wythe county. Don’t know if that’s near you or not. Did you get straight run or pullets from tractor supply. TSC is famous for a miss labeling
