Hi everyone! I'm in Southern VA (Brunswick County about 35 miles from the NC border). Wanted to post that I have 4 Easter Eggers about 2 months old that I'm looking for homes for. I bought some eggs from a fellow BYCer and did NOT anticipate 10 out of the 14 hatching! I can only keep 2 of the 6 that I have left, so I'm looking to rehome the others. At this point I'm not asking for any money, just a good home! I also have a 9-10 month old rooster (also an EE who was hatched and sent to me from another BYCer) that needs a home. We have 2 roos and only 2 hens (we just lost one to a dog:( ) and are keeping 2 that appear to be hens from our hatch. Please please please send me a private message on here if you are interested! I do have pictures that I can send you, or if you read through my last posts there are pictures of them under one asking about the sex! I don't mind traveling as far as the Richmond area if needed.

i will come get the hens any day you wish .... just call me 757 354 6003 .... i live off 58 past courtland .....jamie

Hi!

I live in King William County, Va and 2 of my 6 chickens (4 months old) have turned out to be roosters! Sigh. Things are not going well, and seem to be getting worse by the day. The roosters are not fighting each other and are not aggressive towards me or my children (I have three littles) but are really bullying the hens. The hens are avoiding by staying on the roost. Most unpleasant! I think that finding a home for one of the roosters will help (based on some reading here!). Please no soup pot! The roosters are Buff Orpingtons. Very pretty and healthy! Please send me a message if you live nearby and are interested!
