ok, is anyone else interested in a name badge they can wear at swaps/gilmanor to ID their name/location/byc name/whatever?

the badges cost $11 each, which includes the paypal fee and shipping from my friend who does them to me - he's in delaware. donations for any custom work you want done would not be turned down.

i enjoy doing it, but it does take a bit of time and effort. I've also got access to hundreds of fonts, so we can get as creative as you'd like.

i've got mine and canesisters' badges done and am getting ready to put the order in soon, so we'll have them in time for gilmanor. (i can mail it to you or you can pick up at gilmanor).

i can do some custom graphics work as well, if you have an image you'd like to use. the dorking on mine is my 'big guy' silver grey roo, the one on canesisters is her marans roo.

for comparison, here's the image i used to create the one below for my guy...

So it looks like I'll be culling my rooster this Saturday. He has become so people aggressive that I have no other choice. This will be my first cull of anything. But I know it has to be done.
I also have been feeling bad for my hens. He has warn their feathers off their backs. One of my hens has a bad cut on her back which I need to treat. Does anyone have advice on best treatment of open wounds?

Thanks so much!

Definitely hope to be there!! :)

Question for ya... When I was researching on here before purchasing any chicks or anything, I found something that said in Roanoke, you can have 10 chickens in X amount of property, and I think up to 40 in XX amount of property.

I just stumbled on: http://www.roanokecountyva.gov/documentcenter/view/4365 And it looks like it says only ten, and no roos? Do you know which is the accurate amount?

My lavender orphingtons ( JCH line) are laying and their first test batch is hatching as we speak. Will have a limited amount of fertile eggs for sale next month if all looks good with these little guys.
