Virginia

Hey everyone in the NRV (New River Valley) area of Montgomery County, VA. I am in search of 1 or 2 Khaki Campbell ducklings.

Is there anyone on here that will be at the Tractor Supply in Christiansburg tomorrow, May 3, 2013 that will have any?? I don't know what time the swap starts or ends but would like to go if I have time. Have to be in Salem before 7:30 AM.

I would like to get some young ducklings, maybe 1 to 2 weeks old.

Thanks in advance.

normally i'd be there, (say hi to everyone for me. LOL) but i'll be headed to glen allen for the gilmanor swap tomorrow (with bulldogma and my std poodle as copilots)...

if you want to PM me with your cell #, if i see any at gilmanor i might be persuaded to call and let you know and we can meet up sunday. i live between roanoke and blacksburg. if so, can ducks eat chicken pellets?

oh and c'burg swap usually runs 8-noon or so. talk to Dan (white pickup with bed cover), he's got ancona ducks, he might know who else has in the area. if i remember later, i've got his phone number on my desk downstairs... i'm working right now so can't run down and look.

Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn't want to stick you with them if they aren't what I want. I may check at the Salem TSC, wonder if theirs is at the same time, since I will already be in Salem.

And to answer your question about ducks eating chick pellets, yep. Ours are actually eating laying mash crumbles, same thing all our chickens eat.

Gilmanor-bound!!!!!

Gathering up all the cell numbers to meet up with folks... making sure I have water-ers for the carriers... wishing I had found a little wagon to borrow for toting around things at the swap... making plans to meet up with my buddy (who is tasked with dragging me to the truck before I get in too deep)... just about to BUST with excitement
