Virginia

I'm in Giles County, Virginia, in a 2000 people town by the New River called Narrows! Hello to all of you and I'd love to know of a vet that does duck sexing, etc. within a 2hr radius of me! Any ideas??

if anyone would, I would think Virginia Tech vet school... but why? just wait for it to mature and you'll know?

ok I've got a question... headed to Floyd tomorrow for club meeting (Floyd amateur radio society) and wondering if anyone knows who in Floyd sells feed? we're on a tight schedule tomorrow and i'll have about 20 minutes or so to get feed while hubby works on a project with someone, then we have to come right back home for him to leave me here and head back into Roanoke to help his mom... so no time to stop on the way in or back...

CW Harmon and Son might. May want to call ahead (540) 745-2252. They are not open late though. We used to get grain for the horses there, but not sure
about chickens.

They are down on 221 on the opposite side of the town of Floyd (assuming you are coming from Roanoke).

Thanks, I'll see if they do.

Darn. Was going to go ahead and get the light and stuff from TSC today so we could have gotten a few of the black and white chicks we saw yesterday. They are sold out of them already, only having ducklings and bantam chicks available as of tonight. Insane how fast they sell out. Oh well. We'll get 6 from Southern states the middle of next week, and then see what TSC has available. They said they can order pretty much whatever we want. :) They have a list of about 60 different chickens they can get in.

thanks, i'll check them out tomorrow... I'm guessing you mean down 221 away from Roanoke... towards willis...
You are correct. I think they may only be open until 2pm on Saturdays. There is also Vaughan's Mill in Indian Valley, but you may be pressed for time on that one. Another place may be GJ Ingram and Son (a Marathon station on the Roanoke side of 8 on 221). I would call all places before you think you might go… it's been a while since I've lived over there. Hope those help for you.
