Hello guys!

I have a Lavender Orpington Rooster named MJ that I need to rehome. I am getting rid of him because I have WAYYY too many roosters and not enough hens. I would ideally like to get $20.00 for him. He has been fed low spray, non GMO feed since March 3rd 2016. He is about a year and a half old. He is usually very sweet, every now and then he will peck you if he feels like you are threatening his hens. He has a beautiful crow and loves being the protector of his flock. I would love to see MJ go to a good home. I am in SW VA. Message me if you are interested. I also have a Buff Orpington rooster I want to get rid of for $10.00 His name is Kylo and he is 20 weeks old. I ordered 5 Buff orpington hens and I got 3 hens and 2 roosters. I decided to keep my favorite rooster, but Kylo needs a good home. I hope you are all having a great week! (Yes, I am a Star Wars fan)

Hi everyone. .....STILL searching for Showgirls and can't believe how difficult it's been. Preferably no black. Does ANYONE know of breeders?
Would really appreciate any help.

There is a breeder near me at Zion Crossroads in Alblemarle/Fluvanna County area. They have an ad posted on Craigslist if you search there with "showgirls" and contact them through that app. It's a breeder that I see lists regularly if that helps but I haven't purchased from them myself.

Just FYI no one in Virginia is mg/ms clean. People are trying but it always comes up negative. So if someone tells you they are mg and ms clean I would ask for papers because it's almost a garauntee that it's bull!
I appreciate your honesty. I understand. These things have been around forever but I had not heard them like I have recently. Infact I can honestly say I have heard MS & MG more in the past year than I have heard total all My life and that is saying something considering I am in my mid 60's. Thank you again for bringing this threat forward to our attention for us to be aware of. Pesticides and Fertilizers are a major threat not just to bees but to chickens also. Beware of the antibiotics one uses. They may have a high rating, chemo that is. All medications carry a radiation level, be a ware of that. Chickens have been around since before man(jungle fowl) and yet they are very sensitive animals.

What would you do differently if you had the chance for a do-over?
I have always had a Master plan. Over the years it needed to be tweeked. Seriously tweeked this year- all Year. Made some costly mistakes.
