I have what I hope is an interesting proposition to someone that lives near me -- Ruckersville, VA. Last spring I ordered 12 Isbar hatching eggs. Only one survived past chick hood and of course it's a rooster. He's a gorgeous blue with some tan markings, very non-aggressive (not friendly, but certainly respectful and shy) and I would love to keep him to raise some olive egger and easter egger chicks from my girls (I have lavender Americaunas, easter eggers and cream legbars as well as FB marans) but he crows ALL DAY. My FBC marans roo crows only in the AM (like, 2 times) and then only when there is danger or something weird he wants me to know about. This guy and my lavender Americauna roo crow back and forth, all day. My husband can't stand it -- he HATES crowing. I am willing to give the Isbar or Americauna rooster(s) away with a selection of blue and brown layer pullets if I can get some hatching eggs next spring -- I'll pay for them of course. Any takers?

I was wondering if anyone was wanting to sell an Ameraucana rooster in the near future. I would not like an easter egger, because I want to breed it to my hens to have the best chance of having blue-egg laying chicks.
Can NOT be aggressive. Does not have to be really friendly, either. Just needs to have some respect. I don't have the time to spend a lot of it teaching a grown rooster manners.
