The Gilmanor Swap Facebook is much more active, but somewhat slow at actually approving posts and you can't list prices due to FB policies.

Hi Y'all. I just found this Virginia thread. I am in Rockbridge County, VA, near Lexington (VMI, Washington and Lee University). I recently retired and started my small backyard flock this past summer. Unfortunately, I got two Australorp roosters instead of hens and have to rehome them. Two roos with only four hens might lead to really stressed out hens. They are 16 weeks, Marek vaccinated, hand raised on organic feed, and friendly. If your interested, let me know. Otherwise, it's nice to be in touch with some local chicken keepers

Hello - I have three fawn and white female runner ducks (turning 3 in July) and one blue female runner duck (turning 2 in May). We have a wonderful setup for them with a great duckhouse/run, large fenced area, and in-ground little pond and waterfall. They are my babies, but unless a future buyer wants to keep them (ideal), they will need a new home when we inevitably move (not to another farm). I'd love to know there's someone out there who would take good care of them either on their own or as part of another cared-for flock. Located outside of Staunton, VA.
