Hey thanks for posting that! I have not seen this swap advertised anywhere until you posted this. We had other flyers to another swap we are putting together though!

Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself. I just joined BYC and ordered my chicks today. We are in Loudoun County VA. We are starting with chickens and hoping to move to turkeys next year. I hope to hear from some local folks.

Also, does anyone know of a good processor in the NoVA, MD, WV area (we are close to the borders of all three states)?

Thanks!

i am hoping there will be some there...hopefully they will be big enuf to integrate into my chixn flock...if not i will have to wait until next yr...no room for another brooder...lol

Spotsylvania county here.

Matthewschickens, I bought my chickens from Eden Farms! They are GREAT! I just loved them! I will be taking my repeat business there.

I found them when I was doing some research on a possible pet rabbit for my daughter. The rabbit fell through, but I got our chickens from them LOL.

hey gettinaclue, my ameraucanas are from hatching eggs from eden farms. they gave me 18 blue eggs to put in my incubator and 14 of them hatched. out of those 14 i kept the best 5. when i was looking for cubalayas, eden farms wanted $8.50 for day old cubalaya chicks and then offered me some bantam cubalayas when they couldn't deliver. i think they are way over-rated and buy from hatcheries and resell to the public.
